Becker College Recognizes Nicholas Farren of Providence as First Year Honor Student

Nicholas Farren of Providence, RI was recognized as a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta First Year Honor Society. Farren is working toward a bachelor of arts, interactive entertainment, game design concentration.

Becker College is pleased to celebrate the academic excellence of freshman students with this notable recognition.

Alpha Lambda Delta celebrates academic excellence among first year students who have earned a 3.5 or higher grade point average during their first year of study.

The Princeton Review ranks Becker College as one of the best 378 colleges in the U.S. Becker's undergraduate video game design program has been top-ranked by The Princeton Review for four consecutive years and is one of the top three in Massachusetts and top 15 nationwide. Becker is ranked #1 among private undergraduate nursing programs in Massachusetts, with a 98 percent NCLEX pass rate for pre-licensure nursing graduates in 2012. In 2011, Becker was designated by state officials as host of the Massachusetts Digital Games Institute (MassDiGI).
